A brother’s suicide led Devin Singleton to discover a world of grief, risk and resources he never knew existed — and ultimately inspired him to create The Space They Left: Grief, Risk, and Postvention for Suicide Loss Survivors, a three-part documentary series premiering this September on Panhandle PBS.
Panhandle PBS is inviting local families to a free afternoon of community fun on the station's lawn. The station will host its annual "Be My Neighbor Day!" event from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 11.The free event will take place at the Panhandle PBS studios, located at 2408 S. Jackson St.Inspired by the hit PBS KIDS animated series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and the PBS classic Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood "Be My Neighbor Day" is designed to bring families together to celebrate community spirit and the core values of kindness, friendship, and being a caring neighbor.
